A recipient of numerous prestigious awards, she has consistently captivated global audiences with her extraordinary performances, representing her nation on the most elite international stages. Kamilla is not just a rising star; she is a multifaceted visionary whose discipline and creative passion have set a new benchmark for excellence.
In this exclusive interview, we delve into her remarkable journey, exploring the drive behind her early success and the artistic philosophy that continues to propel her brand onto the world stage.
Kamilla Mammadzada:
The “Kamilla by Yes Couture” brand is the realization of a lifelong passion for aesthetic excellence that began in my early childhood. Even as a young girl, I was profoundly captivated by the intricate world of couture, the rhythm of the runway, and the transformative power of design. My ultimate ambition was always to establish a brand that mirrored my personal creative philosophy.
To transform this dream into a tangible reality, I joined forces with the exceptional team at Yes Couture, resulting in a synergy that perfectly balanced youthful vision with industry mastery. I am particularly indebted to Yegana Sadikhova, the founder of Yes Couture, whose invaluable mentorship and unwavering support have been instrumental in this journey. This brand is more than just a label; it is the sophisticated embodiment of years of dreaming combined with a high-level professional partnership.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
My vision for the brand is centered on high-level integration within the global luxury fashion ecosystem, collaborating with world-renowned brands and distinguished industry pioneers. We are positioning our creative output to resonate on a truly international scale.
A cornerstone of my strategic objective is to see iconic global personalities donning our designs at the world’s most prestigious venues—specifically the Cannes Film Festival, the Golden Globe Awards, and the Venice Film Festival.
We aren’t just creating couture; we are crafting a red-carpet legacy. Our focus remains on high-profile international partnerships that will amplify our presence at the epicenter of global fashion and cinema, where elegance meets influence.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
For me, participating in international pageants has always been about more than just aesthetics; it was a rigorous school of discipline, self-confidence, and cross-cultural diplomacy. These platforms taught me how to project presence and embrace the responsibility of representing Azerbaijan with pride.
A defining milestone of this journey was winning the GRAND PRIX at the international “Global Miss Union” project in Dubai. This achievement was a pivotal catalyst for my recognition in both the fashion and music industries. It proved to me that with a strategic mindset and creative excellence, one can truly make an impact on the global stage. The lessons I learned during those years remain the cornerstone of my professional approach today.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
One of my most meaningful and proudest milestones was being named “The Best Young Designer of the Year” during the prestigious Millionaire Concept 5th Anniversary Gala. To be recognized by a globally renowned platform like Millionaire Concept is a powerful validation of my creative vision and hard work. This award is more than just a title; it is a catalyst that has fueled my ambition to take my designs to the international stage and continue pushing the boundaries of contemporary fashion.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
Being invited to a world-class platform like “Miss Europe Continental” as both a VIP guest and a featured designer was a major international milestone for me. However, the true highlight of the evening was seeing the winner crowned in one of my signature designs.
For any designer, being the “choice of the winner” is more than just an aesthetic triumph—it is a powerful validation of the brand’s aura and energy. It demonstrated that our designs not only meet global standards but also enhance the confidence and presence of women on the world’s most competitive stages. That moment was a profound affirmation that my brand is ready to command the international fashion landscape.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
Qatar, and specifically Doha, represents one of the most sophisticated and demanding luxury markets in the world. Representing my country at the “Qatar Bridal Fashion Show” was more than just a runway presentation; it was a pivotal moment in my brand’s global integration strategy.
Our collection, which blends the opulent aesthetic of the Middle East with the modern elegance of Azerbaijani design, resonated deeply with the audience. To be present in Doha is to speak the universal language of high-end “haute couture.” This experience confirmed that our creative vision meets the world’s most rigorous luxury standards and has the power to captivate the global elite. It was a defining step in positioning the brand as a formidable player on the international stage.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
Music and fashion are deeply intertwined in my creative philosophy, and I am committed to pursuing professional excellence in both. My repertoire primarily consists of works by international composers, many of which are showcased on my official YouTube channel.
A significant dimension of my musical education is studying the art of opera under the mentorship of the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, Fidan Hajiyeva.
My journey began in 2017 when I was awarded the “Princessa” title at the Kids Best Model competition, followed by my official debut in 2019 with the song “Helping You.” That same year, I performed at the “Zima” Children’s Music Festival at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.
My international recognition grew through prestigious accolades, including “Best Child Singer” in Turkey and honors from the Golden Palm Awards, Global Woman Awards, and Golden People Awards. Notable highlights include winning the international talent festival at Expo 2020 Dubai and being named “The Best Child Singer” by Millionaire Concept in 2024. These achievements reinforce my commitment to representing Azerbaijani artistry on the world’s most elite stages.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
Working in television, especially on a prestigious platform like the “Culture” channel, was a profound artistic journey for me. The “Voices of Azerbaijan” segment, which I had the honor of co-hosting with the legendary Fidan Hajiyeva, was dedicated to promoting our national heritage, arts, and aesthetic values.
This project allowed me to explore the deep synergy between fashion and music, design and cultural legacy. As a designer, my vision has always been rooted in “modernity inspired by heritage.” Engaging with such a high-caliber cultural dialogue reaffirmed that my brand is not just about creating apparel; it is about acting as a cultural ambassador. It taught me how to translate Azerbaijan’s rich cultural codes into a universal visual language that resonates with a global audience.

Kamilla Mammadzada:
I envision the Kamilla Mammadzada brand not merely as a fashion house, but as a comprehensive luxury lifestyle ecosystem. Our strategic projects, developed in collaboration with the Millionaire Concept brand, are fundamental to this global vision.
As part of this synergy, we are debuting our exclusive “Signature Collection” of brooches and fine accessories. However, the most prestigious highlight is our foray into the world of haute fragrance. We are set to unveil an exclusive perfume project, crafted by the world-renowned master perfumer Christian Provenzano in special collaboration with the Millionaire Concept brand.
This fragrance is more than just a scent; it is the olfactory signature of our shared aesthetic vision and a vital component of the 360-degree luxury experience we curate together.

Your career in fashion began to take shape quite early, even during your formative years of study. Where did your inaugural major fashion show take place, and as a rising designer, what did managing a project of this scale teach you about the industry?
Kamilla Mammadzada : My first significant entry into the world of runway production took place at the SIMOORG
Academy in Baku. This event was a pivotal milestone for me, as I took on the immense responsibility of presenting two distinct fashion shows in a single evening. Given the attendance of many distinguished guests, it was a rigorous test of my leadership and creative direction. The highlight of the night was the seamless fusion of fashion and performing arts —we integrated a bespoke dance performance into the show, creating a multi-sensory experience that resonated deeply with the audience. The overwhelming success of the event provided me with the professional confidence needed to scale my future projects. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Hediye Talibova, the founder an lirector of SIMOORG Academy, for her exceptional organization of this event, which served as the official launchpad for my journey in
Kamilla Mammadzada:
I am perpetually focused on transcending international boundaries within the realms of both fashion and music. Currently, I am steering several large-scale international projects aimed at redefining excellence through the lens of my creative identity.
My ultimate objective is to evolve the Kamilla Mammadzada brand into a symbol of Azerbaijani ingenuity on the world stage—one that sets new benchmarks rather than merely following trends. In the near future, you can expect the launch of unique, multidisciplinary projects that merge our rich cultural heritage with avant-garde modernism.
We are not just creating collections or performances; we are architecting a global legacy that asserts our nation’s intellectual and aesthetic prowess in the international luxury market.
